Paul Bertram
CSI Distinguished Member (and former Director of Environment and Sustainability, Kingspan)

Paul is a Distinguished Member and Fellow of the Construction Specifications Institute and a Past Institute President with a focus on building product evaluation, resilient functional performance, environmental impacts, and envelope first energy efficiency strategies.

He is a Board member of the National Institute of Building Sciences and liaison for BETEC (Building Enclosure Technology and Environment Council) as well as a member of the Off-Site Construction Council. He is also a past member of the US General Services GSA High Performance Green Advisory Committee and still active on a GSA Task team. He is active in the Retrofit NY program. In 2015, he was a delegate, observer and speaker at the Paris Climate Change meetings COP15 speaking to buildings role in reducing carbon emissions with high performance low carbon buildings.

Paul was formerly with Kingspan Insulated Panels as Director of Environment & Sustainability efforts in North America. He was president of his architectural graphic design firm in Orlando for 28 years. His career began in Design & Development at Walt Disney World in Orlando as a Production Artist.
